Biography

Ye Jia is a dedicated PhD candidate at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University's Department of Computing, specializing in Human-Computer Interaction, including Virtual Reality, Metaverse Technology, Education Technology, and Extended Reality. He is supervised by Prof. Richard Chen Li and co-supervised by Prof. Qing Li. His research has been published in leading academic journals and presented at top-tier international conferences, including the International Journal of Human-Computer Studies (IJHCS), IEEE Transactions on Learning Technologies (TLT), and the IEEE Conference on Virtual Reality and 3D User Interfaces (IEEE VR). He serves as an active reviewer for various leading academic journals, such as Computers & Education, Computers and Education Open and Frontiers in Virtual Reality. He also served as a session chair at The 8th International Conference on Technology in Education (ICTE 2025). As an IEEE Student Member, he is committed to contributing to the future of immersive education technologies.
